Who is jarsha in eragon

You'd think, since people are allowing it to choose their new leader and all, that it is pretty much trusted and well respected.

Oh, and that brings up another question: if everyone trusts the council enough to let it choose their leader, then why don't they just let the council lead them and let it be done with? And if for some reason people don't want the council to be in charge and instead want some kid to lead them, then I think it's perfectly reasonable for the council to want to control said kid and make sure that she doesn't do something really stupid that will get the whole Varden destroyed.

But of course, no one in the story thinks of it like that, because if they did then they would be using common sense, which is strictly forbidden in Eragon-land. Wouldn't it have been easier to say "we may speak without being overheard by anyone "? Is the leader of the Varden an inherited position? Becuase that would be really dumb. The Varden is a rebel group, not a kingdom, and wouldn't a rebel group prefer to have the most qualified ruler instead of the royalist?

Also, if the Varden is a monarchy, then why did the council have to appoint Nasuada? Wouldn't it have just been assumed that she'd rule?

And on the flip side of things, if the position isn't inherited, then why did Ajihad plan for Nasuada to lead eventually, and why did the council appoint her?

Aren't there more qualified people in the Varden who'd make better rulers? He just said that he'd do what she told him to do, and he would have done that anyway since she's the leader of the Varden and all.

Also, it's not like the fealty oath is magically binding at least as far as we've heard , so if Nasuada wanted Eragon to do something really evil or stupid, couldn't he just not do it?

And then he forgets about it a few sentences later? Um, you know, I'm not a doctor or anything, but I always thought thatgiant frickin' burns on your arm generally hurt a bit more than that. That would be like if humans were unable to control when they talked.

Admittedly, there are some people who have this problem, but that's because they have a ginetic disease, and it's not a good thing. It's not like Eragon really had a choice in this whole thing. Instead, she just yells about how he's overturned a lifetime of work by letting the Council of Elders control the Varden No, she not Paolini's Mary-Sue dream girl at all. Arya's eyes have been described for the second time, and now they're "emerald--deep, knowing, and most often solemn.

How is the debt burned into his blood? She's an atheist, so she can't believe that the stars are sentinent gods that watch over people or whatever. Therefore, this saying makes no sense whatsoever.
